Course Overview
AP Physics 1 is an algebra-based, introductory college-level physics course. Students will develop a deep understanding of foundational physics principles and learn to apply these principles to solve real-world problems. The course emphasizes inquiry-based learnig and critical thinking.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, students will:
- Understand and apply Newtonian mechanics (including rotational motion).
- Explore work, energy, and power concepts.
- Analyze mechanical waves and sound.
- Study simple circuits and their applications.
- Develop scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills.
